Two Paths In
We don't train performers ourselves -- we send you to family
Soul Penny Circus doesn't run its own circus-arts training program. Three of our own founders -- Erica Holt, Tim Holt, and Fae Champagne -- co-founded Le Château de Cirque in Montréal, and that's where our own artists train and where our productions are developed. If you're building circus skills, that's where to start. If you're already trained and want to perform with us directly, there's a path for that too.

Le Château de Cirque
Housed in a 1931 Art Deco cinema in Montréal, Le Château de Cirque is a real working circus venue -- ceilings over 7 meters with rigging points for every aerial discipline, a full DMX theatrical lighting system, professional sound, and seating for 117. It's a school and a stage at once.
Beyond technique classes, the Château runs an intensive creation program for intermediate and advanced circus artists -- not just training the body, but building an actual piece from concept through choreography, costume, and performance. It's the same process our own productions come out of.

Les Baladins Nomades

Already Trained?
Perform with Soul Penny Circus
If you have a circus, theatre, or sideshow act you're ready to bring to the stage, we want to hear from it. A submission doesn't need to be a polished audition tape -- footage from a training session or a past performance is enough to show us your skillset. If you have more than one act, let us know and include everything relevant. Every applicant goes into our circus database, so you only need to submit once.
